Latrice Marianno is a Ph.D. student in Educational Statistics and Research Methods at the University of Delaware. Prior to enrolling as a Ph.D. student, Latrice spent several years developing and implementing programs for K-12 students in out of school spaces as well as partnering with schools and school districts to provide programs and services to students. During this time, she also received a M.S. in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania to better understand how policy shapes the educational experiences of students.

Her research involves evaluating school improvement efforts through examining educational leaders’ efforts to improve schools as well as the policy mechanisms designed to motivate school improvement. Latrice’s work includes a particular focus on the access, opportunities, experiences, and outcomes of historically marginalized students within school improvement efforts. She is passionate about working with districts, schools, and other educational organizations to evaluate their improvement efforts.
