Tom Nobili

Dr. Thomas Nobili currently serves as the PK-5 STEM Instructional Supervisor for the Milford Public Schools. In this position Dr. Nobili is responsible for the development and implementation of district curricula, leading the expansion of Milford’s elementary STEM program, which now includes dedicated science labs in all 8 elementary schools, and providing professional development and support to the district’s instructional coaches, principals, and teachers. In his role he also collaborates with other central office staff and building leaders on strategic planning and continuous improvement. In addition, Dr. Nobili has co-created and facilitated multiple seasons of the district’s “HQI LIVE!” summer professional learning week.

Dr. Nobili has held a variety of roles throughout his career including classroom teacher and instructional coach. He has a wealth of experience in the areas of curriculum development, instructional coaching, strategic planning, instructional design, and the implementation of high quality instruction. Further, he has provided professional development in these areas at the local, state, and national level. Dr. Nobili received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from La Salle University and his Master’s in Education from the University of Bridgeport.  He earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Bridgeport where he is also an adjunct professor. He is a member of several professional organizations such as The National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (NCSM) and The American Educational Research Association (AERA). He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Council of Leaders of Mathematics (CCLM).
