David Daye is the Director of Operations at Goodwin University Magnet School System, where he oversees all non-academic components of Connecticut’s only college affiliated public magnet school district. David’s expertise lies in designing and managing national programs and creating innovative partnerships by utilizing business strategies to evaluate return on investment (ROI) on initiatives and systems. His broad range of skills includes program management, operations, analytics, finance, grant management, marketing, communications, human resources, diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition, and community relations. 

Previously, he served as Director of Hartford Region Open Choice and member of the Capital Region Educational Council’s (CREC) senior management team. Prior to venturing into education full-time, David worked at Travelers Insurance Companies, Inc. in various capacities. Notably, David is the Founding Program Manager for Travelers EDGE – Travelers’ signature education program. 

David is a graduate of Goodwin University’s Leadership in Education and Development (LEAP) program and Leadership Greater Hartford’s (LGH) Quest program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Hartford, and an associate in Business Management from Capitol Community College. David currently serves on the Board of Directors for Rehoboth Empowerment Group, University of Hartford Alumni Association, and Connecticut Forum.
